dc.description.abstract | The design/research is about planning and managing Rumah Pintar Indonesia smart plug
inventory with the aim of analyzing the most efficient planning and management of Rumah
Pintar Indonesia smart plug inventory in order to improve the company's operational
performance. The Rumah Pintar inventory planning and management system currently does not
use a clear system and is only based on conventional recording and based on estimated
inventory purchases. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with Simple
Exponential Smoothing and Holts Model forecasting methods, the most economical method of
planning and inventory management using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Quantity
Discount, purchasing period planning method with Periodic Order Quantity (POQ), using
Safety Stock and Reorder Point (ROP) reorder point. This research concludes that the most
accurate forecasting for demand in 2021 uses the Holts Model method with an estimated
demand for 2137 units, the most economical order quantity that Rumah Pintar can make by
buying large quantities to get a discount with the All Unit Quantity Discount method with a total
cost of one year. amounting to Rp. 187.716.116, compared to the previous company system
which cost Rp. 209.433.271, with the most optimal order frequency of 7 months and 3 days, as
well as the number of Safety Stocks needed to reach the 95% service level of 175 units in one
year and the reorder point of 532 units to prevent repeat purchases so that planning and the
