Well X and Y in the Namlea field are old wells that are still actively producing. This well has a high water content or water cut, so that the fluids produced are water, oil, and gas. In the production process, well X and Y use an artificial lift or ESP which is not expected to operate optimally. In this research, the X and Y wells were evaluated and optimized in the Namlea field. The first thing to do is a decline curve analysis to determine the type of decline in each well, in addition, the use of this decline curve analysis is to find out whether this well is suitable for optimization of production, especially to optimize ESP pumps. Second, evaluate and optimize the performance of the ESP pump that has been installed using the sensitivity test in the nodal analysis method. The sensitivity test carried out is the variation of the frequency and number of stages. Third, perform an economic analysis based on the final results of pump optimization in each well. The results of this study indicate that by upsizing the pump, testing the frequency sensitivity and the number of stgaes, this well can increase the production rate optimally in accordance with the targeted flow rate. And it is seen that in the economic analysis the results of the optimization carried out can provide benefits for the company.en_US
