Analisis Pengaruh Pembangunan Infrastruktur terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Provinsi Jawa Barat Periode 2016 – 2020
Abstract
Infrastructure is a basic system that supports the structure of a country's economy.
Infrastructure development is very important in an effort to improve the economy
of a region. The availability of infrastructure can facilitate economic activity in the
community and increase productivity which has an increasing impact on economic
growth. The analytical method used in this study is panel data on 27 regencies/cities
in West Java province for a period of 5 years from 2016 to 2020. With PDRB as
the dependent variable (tied) and the variables of roads, clean water, electricity,
telecommunications, health, and education as an independent variable (free). The
data used is secondary data combined between cross section and time series totaling
135 observations. The analysis tool and regression data processing in this study
used panel data with the fixed effect model method. The results show that economic
and social infrastructure with variables of health, telecommunications, and
electricity infrastructure have positive influences and significant contribution to
regional economic growth in West Java Province. While the variables of road
infrastructure, clean water and health have positive and insignificant contributions
toward regional economic growth in West Java Province.
