dc.description.abstract | The research was conducted in the Cicurug area, Sukabumi Regency, West Java with the aim of knowing the rock units, geomorphological units, geological history, and groundwater quality in the research area. The methodology used in this writing is divided into five (5) stages, namely the preliminary stage, the observation and field data collection stage, the data analysis stage and laboratory analysis, the studio stage, and the final report preparation stage. The geomorphology of the research area is divided into 3 parts, namely the Eruption Crater Unit, the lava-flow ridge unit, and the volcano foothills unit. The geology of the research area is divided into three (3) rock units where the three rock units are the result of Pangrango Volcano, namely basalt lava units with Holocene age, Pyroclastics Breccia units with Holocene age, and andesite lava units. with Holocene age. Geological history began during the Holocene when the Pangrango Volcano erupted resulting in freezing basalt lava, then still in the Holocene Pangrango Volcano erupted again with the result of pyroclastic breccia deposition, followed by freezing andesite lava in the Holocene. Analysis of groundwater quality is divided into three (3) parameters, namely Physics, Chemistry, and Microbiology, with the overall results of groundwater in the study area suitable for use as a source of water for household purposes. Anion and cation analysis was carried out to determine facies from the elemental content in the water where the results of water analysis in the research area were Magnesium Bicarbonate Type. Analysis of groundwater flow in the study area was carried out with the aim of knowing the water catchment area and the direction of water flow with the results of the analysis of two infiltrated cross-sectional lines of andesite lava rock units. | en_US |
