dc.description.abstractPetrophysical analysis consist of formation evaluation with identified the reservoir quality and calculate the petrophysical parameter in the wellbore. The parameter consist of shale volume, porosity, water saturation and permeability in research area especially in Bangko Formation, Central Sumatera Basin. This analysis applying the determinisitc method which excecute with calculating the petrophysical parameter based on logging tools responses. Caliper, Gamma Ray, Resistivity, Neutron, and Density data was used on this analysis. This analysis consist of qualitative and quantitative study which the qualitative contains the quality control and quicklook interpretation. Beside, the quantitative consist of calculating the parameter using the Geolog. Cut-off that applied in the well are shale volume at 0.4; effective porosity at 0.13; water saturation at 0.7; and reservoir permeability is at 8 mD. The result shows the thickness of productive zone in Bangko Formation is 20.2692 meter.en_US
