dc.description.abstract | The Bintuni Basin is one of the basins that has the prospect of hydrocarbons. The reservoir is located on rocks with lithology in the form of reef, limestone, and dolomite whose ages are middle to late Miocene. The hydrocarbon reservoir in the form of oil in the Kais Formation was formed by the existence of reef build up. Seismic and well data used to determine reef build up and determine the point for drilling new wells by interpreting data using depth structure map data and seismic attributes. the results show that from the depth structure map, an analysis was carried out in which there were 4 points indicating reef build up. New wells are recommended in area 1, because the area is a reef build-up area with a closed closure due to faults that allow hydrocarbon traps in the area. | en_US |
