This research is about finding the optimum drilling location/well location along with the configuration of the well, which is well trajectory. The research will use an integrated workflow that combines the reservoir simulator, reservoir control parameters, and the optimization algorithm. With the purpose of finding the optimum well location and well trajectory, the integrated workflow will assess various scenarios until finding the optimum solution to the problems. The method used in this research is assessing the reservoir properties, such as permeability, porosity, and oil saturation, in determining the defined area for optimization. By coupling the reservoir simulator and optimization algorithm, which uses Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm, the results show that the optimum well location to drill the new well is in the coordinate of X, Y in 1128540, 32209665.31 with optimum ALPHA and BETA, respectively 314.159 and 58.2758.en_US
