dc.description.abstract | Natural gas is one of the important natural resource assets for a country. Therefore, it is important to analyze the characteristics and other parameters of the gas reservoir for better maintenance. Rate Transient Analysis (RTA) plays an important role in the research and development sector of the gas industry to obtain information on reserves and physical properties of gas. In conducting research on RTA, data on well production, well history, well trajectory, and reservoir properties are needed from ten wells that produce gas in the AEGIS North Field, namely wells AEGIS 01, AEGIS-07, AEGIS-05, AEGIS-02, AEGIS-08, AEGIS-09, AEGIS-10, AEGIS-11, AEGIS-12, and AEGIS-13. These wells have been in production from 2015 to 2021. The reservoir formation in this gas field is Mentawa Reef. This study aims to determine the value of Original Gas in Place (OGIP) and Expected Ultimate Recovery (EUR) of the ten gas producing wells. In this research, approach methods were used, namely Blasingame Type Curve Analysis, Agarwal-Gardner Type Curve Analysis, Normalized Pressure Integral (NPI) Type Curve Analysis, and Flowing Material Balance (FMB). This research was conducted using the Fekete F.A.S.T. RTA software. After completing the analysis and interpretation using these approach methods, the total OGIP value in the AEGIS Field is 3592.8 – 3632.9 Bscf and the total EUR value is 3011.5 – 3045.4 Bscf, with an RF value of 83.8%. In addition to the OGIP and EUR values, other parameters are obtained such as permeability, skin, and drainage area. | en_US |
