dc.description.abstract | Until now, the injections of liquid inhibitors are often done to inhibit the growth of scale in the field. This study aims to determine the value of efficiency on organic inhibitors of Gambir Leaf and anorganic inhibitors of BHMTP. The effectiveness test would be presented in a static experiment conducted in the laboratory. The temperature variations and inhibitor concentrations were applied as research variables. Datas were collected using the gravimetric method, which compared the mass of filter paper in a pure condition after going through the sample filtering process. The mass of calcium carbonate scale deposits from each sample represented the ability of the inhibitor to reduce the rate of scale formation. The results showed that the Gambir Leaf Inhibitor was more efficient to use because it produced fewer scale deposits. However, organic inhibitors have limits to use, including not be able to apply at temperatures > 80 °C. | en_US |
