    Abstract
This research was conducted in the Batur Caldera area which is a UNESCO Global Geopark Earth Park, located in the Kintamani sub-district, Bangli district, Bali province. In the research area on the same object, studies have been carried out on the petrogenesis of rocks, but no study has been conducted on the dynamics of lava-forming magma in the research area, especially through analysis of crystal size distribution. Batur lava has mineralogy of plagioclase, olivine, clinopyroxene, opaque minerals, and glass mass. There are the same microscopic features in all samples in the form of a plagioclase micro texture, namely zoning and sieve. The magmatism process that affects the formation of Mount Batur lava is magma mixing, this is supported by the results of petrographic analysis and crystal size distribution, and also by the calculation of magma storage time.
