Abstract

This practical work is carried out at PT. PLN (PERSERO) UPDK Pekanbaru, PLTG Teluk Lembu. In this practical work discusses and analyzes the gas turbine maintenance methods at PT. PLN (PERSERO). The purpose of the practical work that has been carried out is to find out the gas turbine maintenance method at PT. PLN (PERSERO) and analysis of the effectiveness of the treatment methods used in PT. PLN ( PERSERO) UPDK, PLTG Teluk Lembu, Pekanbaru. PLTG Teluk Lembu currently uses the shut down maintenance method because the generating unit at PLTG is currently more often stand by and only operates when needed. From the results of theoretical calculations, an efficiency of 98.25% was obtained, and after maintenance with the shutdown maintenance method, the actual calculation value of the gas turbine efficiency of the PLTG was obtained by 95.50%. The efficiency of the PLTG Teluk Lembu gas turbine was reduced by 3.75%. Since the efficiency value of the gas turbine has not been significantly reduced, it can be concluded that for now the shutdown maintenance method is still effective for the condition of the stand by unit and only operates when needed.
