Artificial Lift Conversion Sucker Rod Pump to Electric Submersible Pump for AM Field
Abstract
This study discusses the artifcial lift conversion sucker rod pump to an electric submersible pump. The backstory is that injection wells are starting to reactivate with safe pressure limits to optimize production. Therefore, an assessment of artificial lift conversion of the sucker rod pump that was installed is carried out to make it a candidate for artificial lift conversion. The assessment parameters for the candidate for artificial lift conversion sucker rod pump are based on pump diameter, optimal pump active age, promising oil reserves, sonolog data, and fluid over pump. Furthermore, an analysis of well performance, pump design, and finally, an analysis of economic parameters is carried out. The results of the research show that the wells that are very good in terms of performance and economy are wells B180 and B218, each of which flows 735 BFPD and 1535 BFPD of fluid. Well B180 can ideally use the pump type DC750 series 338 77 stages with 540ST 30/710/28 motor power, and for Well B218, use pump type FlexER series 400 110 stages with motor power 562SP 50/500/61. An investment cost of $ 105,010 will generate a profit of $ 15,959,031 in the third year.
